K107fm are pleased to announce a new radio series, ‘Source To Sea’ with the aim to inspire communities across Scotland to have their own mini-adventures.
Next week is the first week of the series, with Cyclists @leecraigie_ and @jennygrahamis traveling unsupported down the river Dee by bike and packraft. Each episode features gorgeous new music from award-winning singer @juliefowlis.
The series will also encourage people to ‘Match the Miles’ they’re clocked up – cycling, walking, running or rafting, whether at home, in town and city streets or in the countryside.
We hope to promote messages of physical and mental health alongside sustainable travel and adventure at a time where “staycations” and exploring Scotland have never been more prominent.
The series will air at various times during the week starting 26th July and also be available via the stations Listen Again service at k107.co.uk
There will be further adventures from “Source To Sea” exploring the River Clyde and River Tweed later in the year.
The series is produced by The Local Media Network in collaboration with Tandem Productions and supported by the Audio Content Fund
