Eighteen stations awarded funding by Community Radio Fund

Ofcom has announced the latest grants issued by the Community Radio Fund.

The panel considered 47 applications, with the total amount of funding requested being £757,370.

In total, 18 applications were awarded grants which totalled £243,395 and 29 applications were not awarded a grant.

The grants awarded ranged from £4,320 up to £18,955 for individual positions, with an average of £13,466. A summary of the awards is at the end of this statement.

The panel also issued a number of notes, which it suggest unsuccessful and future applicants read via the Ofcom website.
