With less than two weeks to go, the full line-up for the UKCRN Conference in Cardiff has been announced.
This year's conference which takes place at the Cardiff City Stadium features an In Conversation session with Huw Stephens, the youngest ever presenter on Radio 1, who now presents on BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio 6 Music and BBC Radio 4, all from the nearby Central Square.
There will also be an opportunity to hear about the Local Democracy Reporting Service, the Bro Radio Academy, River Radios’ Toy Appeal, Rhondda Radio’s Heritage Hour, be part of a live recording of the Radio Creators Podcast and learn how we can all support the development of talent within our stations.

11:15am - Morning Break
11:45am - Jamie Pritchard, Bro Radio Academy - Developing skills and new collaborations.
12:00pm - Local Democracy Reporting Service - How it can help community radio & how stations can bid to host future reporters.
12:20pm - Panel: A discussion on the future - Is a new Government, a new era for Community Radio?
1:00pm - Lunch Break
2:00pm - Welcome back & an overview of Community Radio in Wales
2:15pm - River Radio's Toy Appeal, distributing 9,000 toys across Derry and the North West.
2:30pm - Panel: Developing future talent. Led by Frank McCarthy, UK Stations Manager and BFBS Presenter Ryan Galpin.
3:00pm - Afternoon Break
3:20pm - Podcast Recording: Hosted by Steve Randall, the episode focuses on engaging with your community and covering local events.
3:45pm - Rhondda Radio shares the work of their Heritage Lottery Funded Heritage Hour
3:55pm - Panel: The Community Radio Awards - Creating great entries and how it has helped boost past winners
4:15pm - Looking ahead to 2025.
To make the Conference accessible to all, an afternoon ticket (2:00 pm - 4:30 pm) is available, which gives attendees access to free 1-2-1 sessions with BBC, BFBS and Commercial Radio management and presenters will be available to book on the day, giving attendees a chance to gather hints, tips and opportunities in the wider industry.
Following the close of the Conference, there will be an opportunity to network in the Premier Lounge, before the start of the Community Radio Awards in the Richoh Suite from 6 pm.
